Student-Made Rock Hill, the first ever partnership between Student-Made and a municipality, will hold a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at The Hickory Post, 202 E Main Street, Rock Hill. In addition to being the first Student-Made partnership with a city rather than a school, it’s also the first one to offer students an off-campus physical sales location, hosted at The Hickory Post.
This special event begins at 10:30 AM and includes a ribbon cutting ceremony and reception with light refreshments, along with the chance to meet the talented student creators behind the products. Guests are invited to explore the space, learn about each student’s journey, and shop their handmade goods and original designs ranging from art and apparel to home décor and gifts. A free gift with $10 minimum purchase from Student-Made Rock Hill entrepreneurs will be available while supplies last.
Representatives from the City of Rock Hill, York County Regional Chamber of Commerce, Winthrop University and South Carolina Department of Commerce will be on hand to speak at the event.
