Family Trust among state's best places to work
Posted October 9th, 2011 by The HeraldFamily Trust Federal Credit Union of York County was recently ranked among the top 10 Best Places to Work in the state by the S.C. Chamber of Commerce.
The credit union ranked fifth for small- to medium-sized companies. The top small to medium company was SPARC, LLC of Charleston, a business consulting firm. The top large company was the financial advising firm Edward Jones.
Twenty-five percent of the selection process was based on employer benefit and policy questionnaires and 75 percent was based on surveys that measured employee engagement and satisfaction.
Family Trust was established in 1957 by employees of Rock Hill Printing and Finishing. The credit union is open to anyone in York County and has 43,000 members, six branches and 144 employees. Family Trust was named one of South Carolina's Best Places to Work in 2008.
