Lynn Stephenson, president and CEO of Environmental Land Augmentation (ELA) has announced a partnership with K. Hovnanian to build a university-related, active-adult residential community on the 24-acre site of the former Bleachery plant.
This development site is within a “college town” and will offer the amenities required to create that atmosphere. The proposed development concept includes several residential options like mid-rise condominiums, lofts, brownstones and live/work flats as well as commercial options like restaurants, retail stores and offices. Public spaces will enhance the area with greenways, courtyards, and an outdoor performance park.
